CPIA Retreat Discount Extended, Speaker Announced

The Commercial Painting Industry Association has released updates to its planned Executive Member Retreat, taking place at The Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Florida, Jan. 28-30, 2024. Among the announcements were the CPIA’s decision to extend the early-bird registration rate through Dec. 8 and the confirmation of a featured speaker.

The second annual event will host a conclave of top commercial painting leaders and influencers in an intimate setting where they will explore business-related ideas, trends and solutions.

“Our Executive-level members get a lot from their online peer group meetings,” said CPIA Executive Director Mike Stanley, “but nothing is more effective than gathering in person.”

New Speaker Announced

Stephen Jones, Senior Director of Industry Insights Research for Dodge Data & Analytics, joins the retreat to present his economic forecast for all U.S. construction sectors.

He will share his team’s research findings on trends that are expected to have the greatest impact on construction companies—particularly specialty trade contractors.

In his presentation, "The Year Ahead: Economic Forecast and Key Trends for the U.S. Construction Industry," Jones will share his research and insights to help participants succeed in 2024.

In addition to his leadership position with Dodge, Jones has accumulated expertise through his roles as Executive Editor of Dodge’s SmartMarket Report, Vice President of project management software company Primavera Systems (now part of Oracle), and Principal and Board of Directors member of one of the largest architectural/engineering firms.
